Bill Fries, an advertising executive turned singer who used the stage name C.W. McCall, has died at 93 after a battle with cancer..
Survived by his wife of 70 years as well as kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, etc.

I'm not a truck driver but I always thought his biggest hit "Convoy" was kind of schmaltzy (if that's a word).
Wolf Creek Pass was kind of funny, I thought. "...we commenced to trucking and them hens commenced to clucking..."
