The only way I could truly get consolidated would be to only have one firearm. Don't see that happening.

In handguns I'm down to .380 for summer carry, and .357 & .45ACP for cooler temps with .22LR for the occassional Steel Challenge shoot. Long guns are down to .22LR, .357 & 12 guage.

In the past year I've given up .44mag and .30-30.

I actually made it down to just 45 acp for a long time. I just added a 357 and now I can't stop drooling over a pps in 9mm. It seemed like a good idea at the time

i tried that consolidation thing too,not working, so far 2 9's a 38 and 357,now i keep looking at 40's and 45's, whats wrong with me ?

Same thing wrong with many of us...I have tried a couple times to consolidate my carry guns to one caliber and can't stick to it. I give up and am gonna strap my
.38 J-frame to my ankle, put my .380 in my pocket, slip a compact 9mm in my thunderwear and put my .45 in a Summer Special and go on down the dang road.

(and a .22 in the zip-up notebook just in case)
