Does anyone know the answer to this:
My buddy says that the preference points that you build up each time you are not drawn are kept separately within each category (elk, deer, pronghorns, turkey, quail). So therefore you may as well try for every category every year, there is nothing to lose.
Whereas if my buddy is wrong, then in theory, if you really wanted to try just for Elk, you could simply choose not to try for deer, pronghorn, so that all your preference points would all accumulate rapidly over in the elk draw you're going for, in a few years.
I suspect my buddy is right; that it's the former; anyone know for sure.
