Gunny Paste

Preservative for oil finished wood

1 oz pure bee's wax

1 oz gum spirit Turpentine

1 oz Boiled Linseed Oil (BLO)

Instructions:

Heat wax only until all is melted. Overheating the wax could cause it to ignite. Remove the container carefully from the sauce pan.

Stir in the turpentine, then the linseed oil. Mix well. Allow mixture to cool. Mixture will harden a sit cools.

How to use Gunny Paste:

Use your fingers to retrieve and apply the Gunny Paste to gun stocks or other oil finished wood. Cover the wood with the Gunny Paste and let set for 30 to 45 minutes (until tacky). Do not let it dry on the wood. Buff the wood with a clean cotton rag.
