Two of us went south of Lawton today. If I weren't so old and out of shape and knew how to shoot we would have limited out in less than an hour or less. It was GREAT, since I haven't seriously dove hunted since the early 90's! This or the last two fronts that have come through really brought them down. Couple of the ones were as big a pigeons, damned big ones. Anyway, it was great weather and the birds are there. We would have stayed until sunset if the limit was greater, but we left well before.

Man we had a blast. We hit the sunflower field at around 2:30 in the afternoon and were immediatley inundated with birds. The shooting was fast and furious, but not always accurate!!

It was well worth the trip. Cory of Smokin' Fowl guide service will put you on birds if any one can.

What he means is that Lone Wolf wasn't always accurate.
