Mowed the yard for tge first time this year. I ran out of daylight and didn’t get the grounds mowed.

Twice for me also
Started on our back yard but have to do it a little at a time. Going to try to mow the front yard tomorrow but the back yard weeds have gotten so tall it has to be done in sections. Plus I have to watch our for the baby rabbits or the wife will freak out again. I already found this batch but they were so little I mowed right over the nest without harming them. Soon the little buggers will be all over the yard again.
I cant mow my own yard anymore, but my yard guy came last week. I miss doing my own work, but it is what it is.
As dry as it is at my place up there, it’s probably going to be a while longer before I have to mow, but I’ve mowed twice here in east TX and need to again.
I've mowed the back 3 or 4 times and the front once or twice. Not good for the allergies at this particular time.
I haven't mowed anything since at least 2017, and that wasn't even my own yard. That was when we were onsite "managers" of a retreat and reunion center in Oregon.

People are doing this yard mowing all wrong. You wait till the grass starts greening up then spray with roundup to kill the weeds. Mixed strong enough it will stunt the grass and you will not have to mow till mid May.
I sprayed the clover, when the flowers budded, to kill before the seeds popped.
Grandson mowed 2 weeks ago. I mowed, last night. It will be every 10 days, until the rain stops and summer heat stunts the grass.
