This is a Pioneer 26 sold through Gamble hardware stores.
My grandfather gave it to my dad for his 16th birthday and my dad died just after my 5th birthday
My 2 brothers and I shot it at cans on the farm and since I was the best shot I got the rifle. It was given to me when I was 8 years old.

I just now saw this one. It's really cool. I have a thing for old 22's. I think this one was made by Savage.

Love that stock.

It is a beautiful stock for sure!
I am going to put in a jeweled custom bolt, a Volquartsen 2.5# hammer, and a Nikon 4x32 Prostaff rimfire scope on it, and punch some small holes in paper with it!
