Food plots are looking great!

The newly seeded clover is coming on even better than expected.

Have a couple plots where the clover just recently germinated. Hoping it’s not so young that the freeze gets it.

And my established clover plots are doing well.

Pretty hard to do food plots with at the mixed grass pastures I have.

You stick any kind of ground equipment in the dirt here and you have rocks to deal with for years.

Landowner sent me this the other day. That's the "one hour plot" we did about 3 weeks ago. Rain does wonders.

My place here in east Texas has a few inches of top soil and then iron ore clay and gravel, and I‘ve had good luck with my overseeder doing no till through the grass.

And the rocks are rough on hay equipment

The guy I planted food plots for on Oct. 21st sent me pictures from a couple days ago, and the overseeded/no till did ok considering he didn’t really bring enough seed for the acreage he wanted me to do. He fertilized them when he was there Sunday and was banking on a rain which we didn’t get.
