Cool find!!! I’m always curious as to the back story on how a deer found like that died.
I would guess those are at least a couple years old, because in my experience, it takes that long for the skin to completely rot off the skull. :anyone:

Did they find any quail?
Hunting quail in western ok this year the numbers are definitely up. Seen a lot fewer hunters ,which is good . Last couple years we seen a lot of out of state hunters and birds were scarce . This year we were in birds every weekend we went . We refrain from shooting the small coveys. Having said that we only jumped a couple small coveys . Most were 10+ and one had to have been 25 or so . It may have been 2 coveys in close to each other though. Not even close to the numbers I would see as a kid but still better than it has been in a while.
