I used to have a list of all the interesting songs I heard at funerals (I attended over 3000 in 7 years as a funeral escort).
The ones that stick out:

George Jones' "He Stopped Loving Her Today" at 2 funerals. One for a guy, and one for a woman.
Jimmy Buffett's cover of "Hey, Good Lookin."

Both of these songs are from the Japanese movie....Departures. It is an excellent movie about how a young man becomes an undertaker and the Japanese ceremony he performs is beautiful.
My wife wants this song playing as I say my final goodbye and know she is being cremated.
