The violations affected current and former vision center managers and asset protection coordinators at Wal-Mart Discount Stores, Wal-Mart Supercenters, Neighborhood Markets and Sam's Club warehouses. Wal-Mart failed to compensate these employees with overtime pay, considering them to be exempt from the FLSA's overtime requirements. The Labor Department's investigation found that the employees are nonexempt and consequently due overtime pay for any hours worked beyond 40 in a week.

It only affected the vision center managers and asset protection coordinators. It was a mis-classification of the job for exempt or non-exempt status.

I'm glad to see the affected employees got their back pay, but that doesn't reflect the rest of the walmart employees legal status.

Dont forget about discriminating against the womens and not promoting them. That was either settled or a loss. Walmart is bad for America, kills every small town theyre in.

You think you get to choose music you like??? No an artist and a Recording industry determine what you like and a radio station plays what the industry tells them to play. Watch american idol or the voice.....or better yet Tom Pettys "The last DJ", or Joe Walshs, "Analog man in a Digital world". There is no choice except to choose what they determine youll choose.

That used to be completely true, but in the age of information, I. E. The Internet, it is a lot easier for an indie artist to get recognition(youtube and such) without compromising musical integrity. It is still not common place, but it does happen more frequently.

That's just one example.
Walmart has a long history of coercing employees to work off the clock.
Google it up.

You're insane. I can buy just about any type of music that I care to listen to.

Nobody is arguing that. The point is that they are bringing to the market what the consumers demand. Low prices.
