Yup. I grew up on him. RIP.
I used to be a fan of his music but knew nothing about him personally. When the news of his passing hit, I checked on his bio info on the net.
His favorite song for me was "If You Could Read My Mind." According to his internet bio, he wrote that because one of his crazy wives was making him crazy. Turns out he was married to a drug dealer named Cathy Smith. She was the person who killed John Belushi. (She provided and injected him with the drugs that killed him.)
Anyway, sounds like he had a rough ride all around.
