I related the story in an earlier thread, but I took this buck with the Xbow this season. He was hurt pretty bad, watched a smaller buck knock him over, etc. when he got in range, I shot him.
The meat was full of infection, so none was saved. Getting it back the taxidermist told me the teeth/jaw was also infected, with the front teeth on that side missing.
Anyway, he finished it up quickly, although it took a while for me to pick it up. I've had two others done European by others, and this is my favorite with the tiny membranes still intact. The other skull is a bobcat he did for me last year very nice job as well.
