Help with new home gun

Hello. I just purchased a used Smith Wesson 64 38+p with a 3" barrel. I love the gun. Just wondering on the best +P ammo to keep in it for home protection. I have a SP101 snub for carry and keep Remington "FBI" loads in it. But with the longer barrel I was wondering if I should move to a jacketed bullet.

THat is what I would say. Finding it is the key I have 2 38s and I havent shot factory ammo in a while just becuase I cant find it

I like the FBI load the best but ammo is so darn high I buy a lot of the 100 round Remington +P 125 gr JHP value paks from Walmart. For about 30 bucks you get twice as much ammo and I think it will get the job done about as well as the heavier bullet.
