I'm new to these, but even watching tutorials I'm stuck. The chamber is empty, mag out and it looks like the barrel is slightly canted downward. Cannot pull trigger, slide won't move at all. side lever won't turn down to remove. If I try to pull the trigger, the slide moves to the rear with the trigger movement, but the whole thing only moves about 1/8 of an inch or so. I can't tell if the recoil spring is somehow out of place or what. I don't want to make it worse, but would removing the trigger pins give me enough play? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks fellas!

I had that problem with a Star pd while shooting personal defense ammunition, I must have gotten a double charge because I found out the barrel had a bulge just behind the bushing, had to sacrifice the slide stop to get the slide off, I found a good used barrel and slide stop on eBay.

Can you post some photos, please?
I would appreciate any help. I've tried manually forcing it just with my hands trying to push the rear of the barrel down and that did nothing. I've used a flashlight to look inside as best I can and the recoil spring looks to be in place. I have messed with it enough to know that it's probably time to take it to an armorer. I can take a glock apart and back together with my eyes closed but these things are a different story.
