Can't do a pardon until there are both charges and a conviction. Probably why they are stepping up the investigation. They really want to be able to put this to bed.

Wouldn't be surprised to find King B has a place at the "foundation table" once his monarchy is passed.

Have to remember the State investigation was "processing" 5K emails a month and found even that rate burdensome.

So, 650K divided by 5K, well that's 130 months.....so 12 years 10 months. At that rate they won't even be alive to prosecute let alone pardon....

Ok, "maybe" they were dragging their feet just a bit.........

In, what I'm sure will be wasted effort, to keep track of the inbred nature of the beltway these days, I'll leave this here...

Apparently DOJ needs to keep their hand in it to "steer" it to a forgone conclusion....

Cliff notes version:

"Good News: The Department of Justice is getting involved in the reopened investigation of Hillary’s email.

Bad News: The Assistant Attorney General, Peter Kadzik apparently overseeing and definitely coordinating is John Podesta’s (Hillary’s Campaign Chair) lawyer and long time friend.

So now instead of just having an Attorney General who parks their plane on the tarmac to talk with Bill Clinton, we have her campaign chair’s lawyer, who ran interference during the Clinton impeachment, and whose kid is interning with the Hillary campaign. No close ties there."
