@Bowhunter wanted a sticky on doing euros. I’m going to start with the basics first, building the boiler.
That's how I did mine. I didn't bleach them with any peroxide or anything, I wanted to see how they looked au naturale. I could have cleaned them up a little better, and still plan to before I hang them up for good. That guys bucket was jenky AF. Boiling water and what looked like exposed wires. Don't see how you can control the boil with that setup. With propane you can pretty much fine tune the boil from a rolling boil to a simmer, etc. Doesn't everyone around here have or know someone with a propane burner top and a big steel/alum pot?
Get a stainless pot and not an aluminum.I need a pot big enough for a boar head. I try to use a metal 5 gallon bucket.
I used an old bucket from a turkey fryer with my deer and hog skullI need a pot big enough for a boar head. I try to use a metal 5 gallon bucket.
I forgot the qt size to mine, but the head likes about 1" fitting. It worked for other pig heads and deer heads, but this head is a little longer.I used an old bucket from a turkey fryer with my deer and hog skull
