HUGE House-Shaking Earthquake just hit me in BA

I started to get worried some things were going to fall off the walls, but then it died down. Wow. I can't get over the feeling in my gut - never been through that, it was freakish.

Here in Burbank I have a mess of reloading supplies to pick up, our substructure being a 10-12 ft limestone base did not lesson the shaking at all.

Once again, I didn't feel anything, but people all around here are saying they felt it (Cheyenne/Sayre area)...only time we've had dishes and stuff rattling in the house was when we lived in Krebs and the ammo plant in Savanna several miles away was blowing up bombs!

I had just woke up when it started. Water in the pool was sloshing back and forth, picture fell off the wall. Went on for about 45 seconds. Only the 2nd one I've ever felt.
Rumor has it that wasn't a quake.
It was the OU Sooners getting up, letting you know it's game day![emoji12]

If you zoom in on the map it shows the center very close to OG&E, about a mile or so from sooner lake.

Sooner Power Plant made a 400,000 lb concrete pour Thursday. That's what did it.....

Shaking is a better way to describe these man-induced events than earthquake. But it certainly was one of the bigger "earthshakes".

I looked at reports and online comments . Area's that felt it
Iowa. Lawrenceburg IN.,,, St Louis Kansas,, Omaha Nebraska..Harrison Arkansas. N Richland Hills TX. Joplin MO. Dallas and Ft Worth TX.

I guessed it at 5.1 while in the upstairs bedroom this morning.. shook for about 90 seconds.. 2 story house seems to shake much more.
Only a few bullets fell off the dresser.
File cabinets opened.

Our house survived it, but I'm now hungry for Buffalo Wings. Seems like an odd effect.
