1. Don't need to completely. Just cull the herd a bit.
2. Depends on the lay of the land. Get on a hill and a nice vantage point i'd be like shooting fish in a barrel. Imagine a pig being shot and his buddy next to him thinking "fock what's Fred doing, must be tired. Probably not much sound from 1+ miles away to scare the pigs after the first shot.


There will still be alot of sound from a .50 even at over a mile away

Lol, I noticed that too! I'd be afraid I'd never get the smell off my face!

may have something to do with whats in that cup.:drunk2:

but normally wild hogs dont smell as bad as domestic. they dont waller in their own crap in the same pen all the time. still not gonna put my mouth on one though unless its cleaned and cooked
