I worked in my attic one installing fiberglass batts and I got "chilled," I can't explain it except that it wan't normal so I got out of there and laid on the driveway hosing myself off for 15-20 minutes until I felt better. I don't go in the attic in the heat of summer except go up, grab it and get down. Too dangerous.
Some techs this time of year will open up a branch of the AC and cool down the attic. The homeowner likely won't even know it.
