Welcome. Ok, what’s the deal with the Jungle Carbines? Are they legit or what? Every one I see at the shows look sporterized or altered from the rifles.

Bob, there are a lot of "fake" Jungle carbines out there done up by importers. You have to look for the areas they cut back on metal to lighten it up. Some are under the hand guard. Thankfully mine is an original. The real ones have the correct "No. 5" etched into them.
