At the end of the day, money wont save your life we become like Germany prior to the second world war. Burning cash and trying to figure out how to not starve to death because the value of the cash is nothing.

Yep, writing hot checks will never cover the bills.

I don't believe repenting and turning to superstition will have any effect on our economy - perhaps moving toward an austere and responsible budget, aimed at reigning in our debt, restoring to link of actual value to the dollar, and ceasing to finance deadbeats would.

I'll betcha a "have to struggle" to pay bills, keep a job, no extra cash for scratch-offs and fountain drinks may restore some sanity to this country. Hard to worry about preferred pronouns and gender re-assignment when your back's bent over and a shovel's wearing blisters on your hand. Just sayin'.

I’m recently retired, so I put 90% of investments in cash last year when market was still high. Simple buying opportunity after the big crash will be an S&P index fund, however that depends on your age & stage in your working career.

My financial planner's firm put their entire client portfolio in cash earlier this year. Sitting on cash is quite comforting as the market continues to decline.

My guy believes the Dow may drop to 25,000 before we start trending upward out of this mess.

If the nation as a whole repented and abandoned the liberal secularism, we just might not have to experience such a crappy economical condition, but at the same time, that may be what it takes to humble the nation. For so many years we have taken life here for granted (not folks like us…to the degree of those who curse the USA and hate true justice and honorable living) and this may be what leads to a little starvation and legitimate hard times. We are still above and beyond many African nations and tribes in the Middle East. We will see how it goes and a lot can happen in just 6 months time, but the current admin obviously wants to make America crash and burn. My opinion of course. I can’t recall anywhere in the Bible where god said that he would keep the economy from failing if we repented? Last I checked he didn’t have much to say about saving anyone from inflation or anything of the sort.
