Is there anything to do in Wister, Oklahoma?

I grew up in the area. Nothing in Wister, but if you want to see some nice scenery, swing up to Poteau and drive up the world's highest hill, Cavanal. Got a beautiful lookout area at the top. Talimena Drive is also breathtaking. Winds through the mountains. Warehouse Willy's has the best steak in the area.

Yep spent a lot of time there growing up with relatives in the 60's-80's. Completely different now. Probably still have a few relatives there. Talihina area was different then too.

Wister lake is nice. There is an ESP shop there and that's about the only reason I can think of to go to Wister lol.

Mountain > 3000 ft above sea level anything less is a hill.

We have a couple of them within 5 miles of us.
