West coast for the scenery. If it were the east coast it better damn well be into the southern half by a long ways. Either coast would mean I was forced into it.
East coast has hurricanes but I would prefer that.

Only thing worse than the west coast is the east coast. Talk about a no-win situation.
if I HAD to pick, Oregon coast would be where I'd go. BUT: If I had to go that far, I'd just keep going and go to Alaska.

Born in California and lived in Oregon.
Never been near East coast..Now Main is east coast but that may or may not be good.
Oregon is nice..you want to swim and there is snow where you are then drive 2 hours and swim.
