Saw a post about this subject on SigTalk.
Years ago; I bought a used Sig Sauer MK-25 (California State approved; magazine disconnect, disgusting loaded chamber indicator; looking for the red arrows that showed the bullets go here -- come out here; it didn’t last very long) the frame mounted vinyl UID sticker didn’t last very long after repeated range sessions. There was an extra one on the Sig factory case.
Fast forward to last year -- I traded for a used MK - 25, same vinyl UID stickers.
I read that someone found a source for aluminum laser etched custom UID Labels, I order 3 for my MK - 25 this morning.
I will post a picture when mine come in.
