Why not have a 22lr upper with sub sonic rounds. Is there that much difference between a 40 grain 22 bullet going 1000 FPS and a 55 grain 22 bullet going 1000 FPS.

Excellent point! Or get the the Aguila Super Sniper which is a 60gr 22LR that is subsonic.
