Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........You guys make me sick. Guess I'm gona have to buy a piece of history as well. Been wantin' to get one for the Old man, He had alot of time on them when he was in. (korean era). I love all the old stories he tells about them, and I wanna' here that "ping"! Now that's the sound of America!!!!

Anytime I let someone fire my Garand I make sure they shoot the last round. You can't beat that sound!

hehe, well, I'm always open to going shooting, by the way, loving the 22 mag. Turtles are not, but I am.

Last year Dave had a WWII themed match in June. We should get as many Garand shooters as possible out there this June too!

Thanks. I've got a couple original and repro cheek pads coming - I got the repro's first in a package deal, then a friend of a friend popped up and sold me a real USGI issue. As for the flash hiders, this is going to be a shooter; since the flash hiders reportedly hinder the rifle's accuracy, I'm not keen on spending the big bucks if it's just going to sit in a drawer.
