You can't go wrong adding a Garand to the inventory. That is one of the most user-friendly rifles ever made.

Take a vacation to the CMP if you get the chance.

How about a 'mini me' M1A? A Ruger 10/22 with a vintage look canvas strap, oil can stock attachment, M1A style sights front and rear. Even wire wrapped the wood and used a torch to give simulated 'tiger stripes'. This cured the itch for a real one and is certainly much cheaper to shoot!!
