Back to the OP's question. I am not sure if the matches per se will qualify you, but as a Certified Range Officer (in any discipline) can run you through your paces and sign off for you. I have done this a few times for people wanting to take advantage of their program.

While I am not active right now, GlockCop is currenly certified (as well as being certifiable LOL). Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

For CMP purposes, USPSA membership qualifies for "membership in CMP affiliated organization." Additionally, a conceal carry permit is considered evidence of "marksmanship or other firearms related activity" for CMP.
