Supply and demnad...yeah, no different than selling a quality vintage gun or other investment at more than you paid for it after all is there?

I would wait. $50 gouging + $40 gas + time away from family / work = at least a hundred bucks. Wait until supply catches back up. The shield is a production polymer handgun. It is not custom Wilson Combat, finely crafted bot action rifle, once in a lifetime never to be made again firearm. Supply will come around.

I'm sure by morals he means that he doesn't not like to pay more when there are cheaper options out there (even though those options aren't as readily available at this time).

My very first purchase I got ripped, so I'm a bit salty and all my purchases since have been the cheapest dealer I could find.
