In reference to the Stanford publication, it states that RTC increases aggravated assault on "the .10 level." What this actually means is that there is a .1 of 1 or (10%) probability that their findings happened purely by chance. Which is too great a likelihood (that chance is to blame) to be statistically significant within the scientific community. The only reason they published is because they know most of the academic community of the US agrees that guns should be less available/eradicated.

No, that is an incorrect interpretation of what a p-value means. It's a common mis-interpretation, but it's nonetheless incorrect.
