This was brought to my attention and the seller claims her asking price is so low because of needing quick cash.

Everything is legit as far as legalities and ownership, so no questions there. It's only fired once (factory fired). I do want to know what would be a fair price for this. If her price is a great price, I'll pick it up, if not, I'll pass. I just know nothing about this 1911. Thanks in advance!

Need some way better pictures of the sides of it, but from what I can see. It has a Gold Cup or NM Trigger, looks like 70 Series sites. There is nothing about this that would lead me to call this WWII Commemorative, except the mag pouches.

+1 that is in no way setup like a WWI or WWII reproduction. Looks like someone threw a Gold Cup in with some paperwork for a reproduction.

Every one of those Commenertaive Colts I've seen has some roll marks and engraving on it. The Pachymyers are not consistant with any special Colt's I've seen in the nice walnut boxes either.

Those nice Commenertative guns usually bring $800-$1500 used retail. Shoot it - it's just another 1911. Top price would be with the case, box, papers, hang tags and every thing else it was shipped with... and top money comes from somebody who needs the gun to fill out a collection.

If I was looking at this... and she needs the cash... best guess would be $500-800 bucks.

Looks like I cant spell Commemorative free hand lol
