Then we gave the Federal bulk pack 325 count a try. Not too bad.

Blazer 40 grain ammo was next. Shot low, and had a few flyers, but those probably were my fault. Did have my first stove pipe on this pistol using the Blazers.

Then another go with the Stingers 32 grain HPs. Not as good as the first time, but this was a rapid fire set since we know that they will group well whenever I take my time.

Next we tried the 45 grain CCI Suppressor. Ok, not great. Will try these again next session to see if I get different results.

Fiocci 40 grain HP were ok. Ventilated the paper decently.

@RETOKSQUID - Details please! We need more info; distance, overall impressions, etc. I think these little pew-pew M&P .22 Compacts are the best little tactical style rim-fire pistolss out there. So darn easy to shoot, so darn easy to clean and they just seem to eat anything you feed 'em. But I for one would like to hear your thoughts.
On the way. Phone died on me  so I had to wait until I got home.

Honestly, I like the Taurus TX22 better, I shoot it better, has 16 rds, full size, eats everything, nice trigger, yada yada..
Good. Personally I have been burned too many times by Taurus to even think seriously about giving them another try. Besides, this is about the S&W 22 Compact, and what it likes to eat.

So, I have to say that after the first thousand rounds I am very pleased with how this pistol has preformed so far. It has been very reliable, accurate, and not very ammo sensitive.

As far as cleaning goes, it is very easy to take down, and the finish seems to help cut down the time when dealing with powder fouling. Didn't even have to break out the solvents, just some Rem oil, a few patches, and everything was good to go.

Same size as my M&P Shields, 9, 40, & 380, so it is a nice way to practice for little money. Might even make a decent bunny and tree rat gun in the near future.
