What are we having? Striper aren't fit for consumption without a lot of work.

Rotflmao. I can't speak about a 30# Striper because big ones should be released if they will survive. Striper 7 or 8 pounds and under are excellent table fare and can be prepped very quickly if you know how to fillet them properly.

That is awesome! Chris is primarily an artificial lure fisherman.

Yep. Chris is good guy and will share lure fishing tips. Also I think texomajon is on here if I remember right. He probably doesn't remember but I met Jon at the Buncombe cafe last year and he gave me a ton of good info on deadsticking. Before lunch we had 0 fish in the boat and after lunch we got a 3 man limit.
