of all the stories in the bible I actually think this one is based on true events...also see the story of Manu (Hinduism) and Babylonian Gilgamesh and Sumerian creation story and the Deucalion legend of the ancient greek etc...

Did the WHOLE WORLD FLOOD...doubtful, but I'm convinced something went down in that part of the world.
