Playing with my Nikon D700 and Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. There is one bush just at the edge of our RV site that gets visited pretty regularly by Hummingbirds. I think these are pretty good for being a handheld shot with a heavy lens and camera.





One of these days, we are going camping up North in Colorado, so I hope to get a number of good scenic shots from up there.

Yeah, because they look like ass covered in Vaseline to us.

I imagine quality has dropped, but they still look fantastic. Nice work!

Might try Flickr... I've had excellent luck with Google+ cloud backup too. It's about the only thing Google+ does right

This first picture is one of the Middle Saint Vrain Creek that runs by Camp Dick campground. That is located northwest of Boulder and southwest of Estes Park.



This second photo was taken up at Coney Flats after taking a four-wheel drive trail up to there. Nice drive, but I'm sure glad I wasn't driving. (See Colorado thread, page three.) I think the name of the stream is Beaver Creek and feeds down to the Beaver Reservoir.
