Well, we got back home last night. Been in Colorado since mid July. 2 weeks in Pagosa Springs soaking in the hot springs that are the deepest in the world, then moved to Antonito Colorado. We had planned to be in Co. until the fall foliage was peaking, but MIL had to be admitted to the hospital in Broken Arrow with some serious health issues, so we came back early to be with her. Driving through Sayer Ok yesterday afternoon, wife was talking to some life long friends, Robert and Glenda that moved to Sayer to take over the family farm wanting us to stop and have a visit with them, but we needed to get on down the road. Robert called this morning and said he found his wife dead when he came back in from feeding the cows. No cause of death yet. Now we regret not stopping.
Had a great time in Colorado with camping friends we have met on the road, and will meet again this winter. Didn't break a sweat the entire time. Never saw 80 degrees with 40-50 degree nights in the San Juan valley. 8130' altitude where we camped.
Happy hour at 4 pm every day at somebody's camper with appetizers or a full meal at times. Campfires every evening, mostly portable propane fire pits that are awesome. Fly fished some incredible streams. Had a licence for New Mexico and Colorado since the Rio Los Pinos was in NM, and the Conejos was in Colorado, both full of wild brown trout. I'll get some pics posted in the random photo forum.

Once again, sounds like a wonderful time! So sorry about Glenda. Just goes to show tomorrow is never guaranteed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Robert and their family.
