I haven't been able to find verification of these letters in places other than crackpot websites. Not even the Blaze has picked this up yet.
Even if the letters are legit, they were sent in by people trying to register albeit late. So don't expect a big Molon Laabe stand from those individuals. Now if they start going after guys by looking up 4473s you might expect a little more resistance.

Well, the folks in this part of the country used to know what a tea party could do in a situation like this.
