Any opinions on these? I can pick up a new one for $599, but I just don't know much about them. Looking for just a fun .308 for punching holes out to 450yds.

Extremely high value option. The accu-trigger is fantastic and the detachable magazines are solid as well. The versions with the accu-stock are stiff and perform well but don't think the SR has that stock. Buy it, buy the best scope you can afford and bed the action and smile as you shoot tiny groups.

Here's the thing on the FCP-10 SR..

There are old ones that were good. Metal AI type mags etc..

I have seen two at the store, one had a large bolt handle and the other had a regular size bolt handle. Both had plastic 10rd mags. Never seen one with metal AI mags, I will keep that in mind!
