Savage 6B 22S/L/LR UNFIRED

I just bought a Savage 6B, this gun is in MINT condition and is unfired. Now I know these aren't a hi-end rifle, but seeing that they quit making them in 1965 and it is unfired. What do you think, it still has the cosmolin on the receiver?

That is really a nice looking rifle.The fact that they wern't high end sort of makes the condition unusual. Actually, I haven't a clue.

Just got back from CJ's and the gun is 100% Unfired, something else. The patten numbering is stamped upside down.

I went over and looked at the gun today. The pictures do not do the gun justice. 100% mint condition. What a find!!! Then,of course, we are talking surjimmy and his amazing ability to ferret out some of the most unusual firearms. WTG!!!

That same basic action was sold under lots of names and over many years. We have a Springfield. I have seen Savage and Stevens as well. Cool gun.
