Practicing what one preaches....

Yes, that should be done, but keep in mind that everyone is a sinner, but good religious people go to church/synagogue/mosque in an effort to better themselves. For that, they get called hypocrites, especially by those that may not be trying to better themselves. As for Bristol Palin, yes, she may have gone "over the line," but I'm still prepared to forgive and allow her to continue to better herself, if that is truly what she wants.

Agreed, but would you want her talking to your teenagers about abstinence tomorrow? How effective do you think her message would be?

I know I'm in the minority but count me in the group who likes polite, respectful, and clean discussions and conversation. Maybe a sub forum for that and leave general discussions the way it is.

I think a good Christian would forgive her even if it is not what what she wants. Just say'n.

Probably not tomorrow but a few years hence - she might be an excellent candidate for that, not unlike how many ex-cons, ex-gang members, and ex-addicts can be great at conveying the "don't be me" message.

In a few years she'll be a past her breeding prime and a gramma. Nobody listens to grammas advice about boys or abstinence.
