Taurus 24/7 ?

A friend of mine brought me his Taurus PT 24/7 Pro in 45 acp.
His complaint it shoots extremely low.
We discussed fileing down the front site but from just rough calculations it would make the post very short. Is there an elevation adjustable rear site available for the Taurus?

mine was the same way. i just had to get used to covering up the target with the sights. i hated mine.
