Apparently my wife and I.Who watches that garbage anyway? My wife records it and makes sure I'm not in the house when it's on.

Yep. That's the threat my wife made that convinced me to watch.I'd just as soon take a needle in the eye personally.
There are several members here from Austin. You should have asked them for advice instead of relying on the Syrian cab drivers (e.g., you'll get cheaper rides, and better advice, from locals driving Lyft/Uber/etc.).Actually I never go to 6th unless I dragged. Went to the LBJ Library and the history museum (two of my favorite spots) this trip. Had not been to the LBJ in some time. It's still cool as hell. Showed the Sniper's tower to some younger employees that had no idea of what I was talking about.
I've learned to never trust much a cab driver says. If they recommend a place, they're getting something. In my reply, I said "I ask someone at the meetings that's from the area". No skin in the game and, for the most part, good suggestions. Most of the places I go, I've been and have certain places I like to go for food. I try to explore things that I might have not seen or is new. As you know, when you travel you need to occupy your time. If not, travel ends up as room, meeting rooms, bar, restaurant, bar and room. There are several members here from Austin.
