I get probably more enjoyment out of the pursuit than actually shooting. It may be that I can always browse, learn, watch YouTube videos, but as a city dweller can't shoot anytime I want. Learning about something, researching it extensively, deciding what's a good deal, then finding it is so enjoyable and then a month later selling it to do the same again. It is a never ending cycle but it is fun and you get to handle many firearms and it never costs me anything other than ammo to "rent" these guns for a few months before swapping it out for the next idealized next best thing. Maybe it would be different if I bought more unique firearms but I'm not really concerned with never finding another M&P or Remington shotgun again.
