<-- Vegetarian-ish

Heh, I'm the same way. I do eat red meat and chicken from time to time. But it's not very common. I do eat shrimp and other seafish like it's going out of style though (and it just might be due to the Gulf situation). My wife is a Vegetarian (actually a Pescatarian but nobody knows what that is) so it's easier for me to be that way as well.

I like to ask the Vegetarians that I "meat" this:

Are you a vegetarian because you love animals? or because you HATE plants?

Or, you could ask them if they're doing it to avoid this:

Take a look in the mirror: Notice how your eyes are on the front of your head, and see those pointy teeth in the front corner of your mouth? We're designed as predators, not prey. That makes us at least partially carnivorous.

Now, do most of us eat way more than we need, sure, but that's not only true of meat, most of us eat way too much of everything!

We eat too much, we eat stuff that can't even pass for food, we are almost entirely sedentary......and then we try to find one or two things to blame our unhealthiness on.

It's the American way.
