right, people like me, who has been registered republican since i was 18, and voted for the liberty candidate in every election since, are the reason we don't have a liberty option in the republican party. good one.

My point wasn't anything anti-Catholic. My point was that many use the argument that homosexuality/same-sex marriage goes against the bible, when religion had nothing at all to do with marriage for tens of thousands of years until the Roman Empire. Same sex marriages/unions/whatever existed for thousands of years prior. While not all ancient cultures celebrated or tolerated same-sex relationships, they have still been practiced much longer than the bible, which taken out of context forbids such actions, has existed. Like I said, marriage was redefined during the Roman Empire. Pushes for marriage equality today is simply a fight for restoration.
I don't care if the bible defines marriage as "no fat people". It has zero place in government, period.

No I understood the point, but it has been the hard core religious zealots that have shaped the minds of Politian's for a long time. GRANTED..... the Catholic church has its hands in a large majority of "that" kind of thinking. Religion and politics should not mix regardless of the faith.

The LGBT groups is a minority in this country from what I've read and they have more political clout, more authority and rights than the average citizen. They are forcing their way into churches and threatening people of faith with lawsuits and that is in my opinion, un-Constitutional because one group of people are favored over another for the sole reason of an abstract Executive Order Obama saddled us with. We can only hope and pray that we will soon have a president and he will rescind the foolish orders rendered by this administration. It will ultimately along with other things destroy our country that we have fought for in distant lands.
As long as the Democrats force feed us immorality, trash our military, shame us before the world, fund islamist fundamentalism such as the muslim brotherhood, increase and promote the number of people on Food Stamps, use fraud to win elections, allow illegals to surge across our borders along with terrorists, I will vote for the best man or woman-not Democratic. The person who votes democratic is a person I can't figure out. Both parties are abysmal but the Democrats....? I don't want my grandchildren growing up in their world.
