Some friends in the cattle business are losing cows because of coyotes. This is in Oklahoma. They're going to have the USDA come in with a helicopter to reduce the number of coyotes in the surrounding area.
I've seen pigs hunted via snipers in a helicopter. (Texas) And I've heard of the USDA dropping poison from helicopters for skunk eradication.
I wonder how they do it here (OK) from a helicopter for coyotes? If they simply were to drop poison, how will they protect domestic dogs, sheep, cats from being poisoned?
I've checked the subject on their website and they're intentionally vague.
