Say WHAAAAAAT??? Please elaborate or let ke know when this will air again.

From what I can remember, the guys from the Zombie Research Association (or something like that) has talked to several doctors and scientist who say some types of zombies are possible. From what I gather, they could make the "28 days Later" type of "zombies" by mixing rabies with a flu virus. As has been pointed out here by others, there are also several types of zombies found in nature and these could someday mutate to humans.

They should be grabbing up all of the M4s and M249 SAWs laying around along with all of the spare magazines and ammo they can get their hands on. I'd put a mount on top of one of their newly acquired vehicles encase they ran into a heard on the road. The ma deuce would probably be too heavy for the regular vehicles as they shook our up armored Humvees but one would probably be good to set up on each corner of their perimeter and set up an interlocking field of fire.

Love the show but kinda hate the intense endings. Begin speculation on the purpose of a barn full of zombies!

I think that the barnwalkers are a form of power generation. Sort of like the old donkey/carrot trick.

Think about it, they want live flesh to eat.

So, you chain a bunch of them to a wheel.

Just out of their reach, but in their "sight" you cage a live rat.

The zombie constantly walks towards the rat, but never can catch it.

Their walking turns the wheel that runs a generator/grind wheel/pump.

Unlimited power. Better than a water wheel or wind mill.

Or maybe the old man is really a necrophiliac and into zombie porn.

He already has a big generator that runs the farm. I'd bet the zombies are relatives/family of his. I'll bet one of them is his wife that he couldnt kill. Way back when our loveable/dumb group came to that farm, the old farmer man told Rick and shane that he personally wanted to deal/handle any walkers that ventured onto his farm. Guess we will find out why soon.

I don't know what the zombie rule of infection on this show is. Season one they smeared zombie guts all over a few people to trick the zombies in the city. Darrell did a zombie autopsy without any gloves. They smash zombies heads in and get zombie black and red goo spatter all over themselves including their faces. Yet they didn't want to drink that zombie Perrier well water.

Finally watched Sunday's show at lunch time. I want to the know more of the back story- how it happened, etc. I am also getting tired of the one kill per show. Let's get some brains flying, dang! its a zombie show, kill sum!

As for the real life zombie thing, yes there are possibilities, but to turn them into flesh eaters is a big leap. Cannibals can get an infection from eating people, it is one of the prions, like mad cow. It leaves them stumbling and bumbling, eventually they die. Toxoplasmosis is a bacteria that infect cats and mice. When it gets to a mouse brain, it takes over and makes the mouse find a cat so it gets eaten (that's real, look it up). People can get it already, it is really bad for pregnant women, but it doesn't take over your brain. Zombies in the sense of mindless people, walking around without any purpose, then zombies are possible. Getting from there to undead fleash eaters is a big step.
