I'm going on Sunday for the first time ever. I've always gone on Saturday so i'm curious to see if there is a difference.

I've been on both days, Saturday and Sunday. Now I go only on Sunday. Less crowded.
And by the time I'm ready to go, about 2 or 3, some of the vendors are packing up too.
I bought my Ruger Redhawk that way - I could see the vendor wavering on selling it or packing it up again. He decided to sell.

I've always liked going early Saturday morning. But I cant believe that I'm going to have to check the road reports before I drive up from OKC this year ...

I've been thinking about it and have decided that I'm not going this year.

It's a long drive for me and I'm not looking for anything special,,,
So I think I'll let you guys have first shot at the goods.

But when one of you comes back with a $400.00 Mauser trainer,,,
I don't want to read about it or see any pictures.

I though that maybe everyone at the show on Saturday could meet up at Surjimmy's table and head over to one of the snack bars for lunch, around 12 or 1.

If you've ever had the pleasure of eating lunch at the Big Show, you'll know that the snack bars are crowded, the service is slow, and the prices are sky high.

An alternative plan, which has worked moderately well in the past, is to assemble at Surjimmy's table (10C) around the time the show closes for the evening (say 5:40-5:45 or so), then head out to supper as a group. We may need a native Tulsan or two who knows where to eat what, but that usually isn't a problem. Tally's Good Food Café is an excellent place to eat and is only a mile or so north of the Fairgrounds at 1102 S. Yale.
