Water well

I just bought 5 acres of land in Logan county and there is no well on the property. I was wondering if anyone knows a cheap company to drill a well. My neighbor said his had to go 175 feet.

Don't know about cheap, unless you DIY. But Allen Water Well has been around a long time and is very fair.

The cheapest I know of in Tulsa County is about $3500 to drill down to about 75 feet and install a decent pump. That's assuming good water is found the first time, and no major rock formations are encountered during the drilling. My neighbor had to have a new well drilled last year after his old one collapsed and buried the pump; he had to pay an extra $500 because the first attempt at a new well tapped into a source that dried up very quickly. The second attempt, drilled about 50 feet away, hit good water.

We used aqua well drilling out of Choctaw. When we were looking, they were the cheapest around and did a good job. We also had to drill to about 175 feet to get good water.
